The External Link application lets you link to external website from your Noodle intranet’s navigation menu. Typically this is used to send intranet users to an external website, while keeping them within the Intranet interface. With one click, intranet users can access an external website — without ever leaving Noodle.
The People application displays all the registered users of Noodle intranet, along with their Engagement Score. From here, users can tag their co-workers or send an email to other users. Users can be viewed by expertise or groups.
You create and edit a Page with Noodle’s built-in WYSIWYG editor. If you know how to use Microsoft Word, then you can easily create, edit, and format a Page in Noodle. You can embed multi-media, such as images, links, slideshows, videos, and widgets using the embed code from popular social media sites. A Page can also contain other Noodle applications or other Page
The Analytics Application tracks and displays the site activity, user activity, and engagement. With this you can see the most popular applications and identify trends to increase employee engagement and build upon the success of your Noodle site!
The What’s New application displays an entire history of new content that has been created and modified on the intranet. It shows the content name, type, location, author, and time of creation. Intranet users can also create a personalized view of What’s New to filter only the content of their choice. Users can also see items for their review and those that have been work-flowed to them.
Knowledge is priceless. Using the Question Manager to ask, answer and archive employee questions create a valuable knowledge base of information. Questions can be answered by multiple people and the person who asked the question can choose the best answer. Categorize questions as either unsolved or solved.
